Recreational Soccer
The 2025 Rec season is currently underway!
The Recreation League runs from August-October with registration in June. Children are placed on community sponsored teams and learn to play soccer from parent volunteer coaches. The teams are co-ed and take a recreational approach. Team ages run from U-6 to U-14. Since this is a recreational league, field sizes and number of participants will vary per year. All games are played at Shanahan Field.
REC SEASON DETAILS
DATES- August 19th - September 25th 2025
GAMES: Games will be played on TUESDAY and THURSDAY at 5:30pm or 6:30pm
LOCATIONS- Shanahan Field in Charlevoix. The best maintained soccer field around!
WHO CAN SIGN UP- Youth ages 4 and up. Birth Year Matrix can be found
on our website. Sign up today!!!
UNIFORMS- Shirts will be provided
COST- $45.00 per player.

CONCESSIONS
Looking for parent volunteer help to run concession stand during games.
We use an online sign up genie to sign up for hour long time slots so you can plan ahead.
Without your help we won't be able to provide concessions during games so any and all help is much appreciated!

Also, the below Skills Training Video was created for Charlevoix Youth Soccer by the coaches at the Massive Soccer Camp held at Shanahan Fields. The training session can last up to 1 hour and you can accommodate 10-40 players in the same session. Each station lasts 1 minute for each player. The coach can observe and help multiple players throughout. Kids love it! Equipment needed: 1 ball between 2 players, cones, stopwatch, pen and papers for recording scores. Small prize for winning pair.
