Based on the lack of interest from our parents and players to hold a shortened fall travel soccer season for 2020, will not have enough players to field any teams. We hope to hold winter/spring trainings and resume travel and rec league soccer in 2021. Thank you and stay safe!
July 29, 2020 - For the health and safety of our players, spectators, and communities and under the guidance and interpretation of Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer Executive Order 2020-110 (COVID-19) (June 1, 2020) – Specifically section 14, we are currently unable to safely conduct our Charlevoix Youth Soccer sponsored soccer activities, including our Rec league and Fall Travel Soccer.
The entire state remains in the MSYSA's Return to Training 5th Stage. This means that only physically distanced practices can take place. Contact drills, small-sided play, scrimmages, friendlies, games, tournaments, etc., cannot currently take place or be organized by a coach/club.
The soccer board has voted to cancel our 2020 Rec League but we will still hold out hope for a Fall Travel Season with the understanding that if full practices and games have not been given the green light to start by September 15 the fall travel soccer season will be cancelled.
